One important feature of Cisco® Crosswork Assurance Sensor Control is its ability to discover remote devices (Cisco® Assurance SFP 1G/10G and Cisco® Assurance Module 1G/10G) and maintain an inventory of them. These devices can be considered as extensions of the Sensor Control, which uses the ports of the modules to deliver system functionality remotely.
