# ptp

## ptp edit

ptp edit - Change PTP related settings

**Description:** Change PTP related settings

**Syntax:**

```
  ptp edit <clock name> transparent-clock { {state <enable|disable>} |
             {tc-l2-mode <enable|disable>} |
             {tc-l3-mode <enable|disable>} | }
```

**Parameters:**

| Parameter | Description |
| --- | --- |
| State | Enable or disable the PTP feature. |
| tc-l2-mode | Enable or disable Transparent Clock Layer-2. |
| tc-l3-mode | Enable or disable Transparent Clock Layer-3. |

## ptp show

ptp show - Show the current PTP configuration and status

**Description:** Show the current configuration and status for the PTP (Precision Time Protocol) service.

**Syntax:**

```
  ptp show "clock name" { configuration | status } (with tab completion
  list all module clocks)
```

**Example:**

```
CLOCK_A800-0621  CLOCK_C407-4378  CLOCK_G417-0021  CLOCK_P100-3312
PLM_Christian_1: ptp show CLOCK_A800-0621

ptp show CLOCK_A800-0621 configuration

PTP Transparent Clock configuration:
------------------------------------
PTP TC State                 : Enabled
```
