# port

## port clear statistics

port clear statistics - Clear port statistics

**Description:** Clear port statistics. If <port-name> is not specified, all port statistics will be cleared.

**Syntax:**

```
  port clear statistics [<port-name>]
```

## port edit

port edit - Edit port attributes

**Description:** Edit port attributes. A port is identified by its name.

**Syntax:**

```
  port edit <port-name> {{alias <port-alias>} |
                         {advertisement {<advertisement-value>}} |
                         {state {enable | disable}} |
                         {auto-nego {enable|disable}} |
                         {speed {100M|1G|10G}} |
                         {media-selection-mode {auto|manual}} |
                         {media-selection-conn {SFP|RJ45}} |
                         {lldp-state {enable|disable}} |
                         {lldp-rate <1-3600>}} +
```

**Parameters:**

| Parameter | Description |
| --- | --- |
| <port-name> | <string> |
| <port-alias> | <string> |
| <advertisement-value> | {10M-HD\|10M-FD\|100M-HD\|100M-FD\|1G-HD\|1G-FD\|10G FD} |
| alias | The "alias" name for the port, as specified by a network manager. |
| state | Port administrative state. |
| advertisement | Specifies capabilities advertised during auto-negotiation. |
| media-selection-mode | Selection mode for dual-media ports. |
| media-selection-conn | Preferred media in automatic mode, or alternatively the selected media in manual mode for dual-media ports. |
| auto-nego | Enables or disables auto-negotiation. |
| speed | Specifies link speed. |
| lldp-state | LLDP frame transmission and neighbor discovery state. |
| lldp-rate | LLDP frame transmission rate in seconds [1-3600]. |

## port show configuration

port show configuration - Show port configuration

**Description:** Without arguments or with the modifier summary, this command displays the port configuration summary in a table format. When specifying a port name, this command displays detailed configuration for that port.

**Syntax:**

```
  port show configuration [<port-name>]
```

## port show device-name

port show device-name - Show port remote device name

**Description:** This command displays the port remote device name.

**Syntax:**

```
  port show device-name [<port-name>]
```

## port show statistics

port show statistics - Show port statistics

**Description:** Display port statistics.

**Syntax:**

```
  port show statistics [<port-name>] [more]
```

**Parameters:**

| Parameter | Description |
| --- | --- |
| <port-name> | <string> |
| more | Show statistics specific to tunnel ports. |

## port show status

port show status - Show port status

**Description:** Display port status.

**Syntax:**

```
  port show status [<port-name>]
```
