# pmcollect

## pmcollect edit configuration

pmcollect edit configuration - Editing command used by the PMCollect (previously Vision Collect) system

**Description:** Change the agent's configuration parameters.

**Syntax:**

```
  pmcollect edit configuration {<parameter> <value>}*
      {flowmeter-mode <collecting|disable|streaming>} |
      {flowmeter-period <1-900>} |
      {regulator-mode <collecting|disable|streaming>} |
      {regulator-period <60-900>} |
      {soamdmm-mode <collecting|disable|streaming>} |
      {soamdmm-period <60-900>} |
      {soampl-mode <collecting|disable|streaming>} |
      {soampl-period <60-900>} |
      {soamslm-mode <collecting|disable|streaming>} |
      {soamslm-period <60-900>} |
      {state <enable|disable>} |
      {streaming-state <enable|disable>} |
      {vc-server-ip <ip-addr>} |
      {vc-server-port <0-65535>} |
      {vc-ssh-password <string>} |
      {vc-ssh-user <string>} }+
```

**Parameters:**

| Parameter | Description |
| --- | --- |
| flowmeter-mode | Select the mode for the Flowmeter pmcollect. |
| flowmeter-period | Reference period in seconds for the Flowmeter pmcollect. |
| regulator-mode | Select the mode for the Regulator pmcollect. |
| regulator-period | Reference period in seconds for the Regulator pmcollect. |
| soamdmm-mode | Select the mode for the SOAM DMM pmcollect. |
| soamdmm-period | Reference period in seconds for the SOAM DMM pmcollect. |
| soampl-mode | Select the mode for the SOAM Packet Loss pmcollect. |
| soampl-period | Reference period in seconds for the SOAM Packet Loss pmcollect. |
| soamslm-mode | Select the mode for the SOAM SLM pmcollect. |
| soamslm-period | Reference period in seconds for the SOAM SLM pmcollect. |
| state | Enable or disable pmcollect. |
| streaming-state | Enable or disable streaming mode. |
| vc-server-ip | IP address of the server used to collect the data. |
| vc-server-port | Port for SSH connection. |
| vc-ssh-password | Password used to access the server via SSH protocol. |
| vc-ssh-user | User name used to access the server via SSH protocol. |

## pmcollect show configuration

pmcollect show configuration - Show PMCollect (previously Vision Collect Agent) configuration

**Description:** Display the agent's configuration parameters.

**Syntax:**

```
  pmcollect show configuration
```

## pmcollect show descriptors

pmcollect show descriptors - Dump PMCollect (previously Vision Collect Agent) JSON descriptors

**Description:** Display the agent's JSON descriptors.

**Syntax:**

```
  pmcollect show descriptors
```
