# password-policy

## password-policy edit

password-policy edit - Change the password policy configuration.

**Description:** password-policy edit allows you to change the password policy configuration.

**Syntax:**

```
  password-policy edit {policy-name} {
                        [ expiration <0-365> ] |
                        [ warning <0-365> ] |
                        [ reuse-limit <0-24> ] |
                        [ min-length <1-128> ] |
                        [ max-length <1-128> ] |
                        [ min-upper-case <0-128> ] |
                        [ min-lower-case <0-128> ] |
                        [ min-special-char <0-128> ] |
                        [ min-digits <0-128> ] |
                        [ blacklist-check <enable | disable> ]}+
```

**Parameters:**

| Parameter | Description |
| --- | --- |
| policy-name | There is only one default configuration policy. |
| expiration | Represents the maximum number of days. Range: 0 to 365. Default is 0. A value of 0 means there is no expiration. |
| warning | Represents the number of days before a password is going to expire. Range: 0 to 365. Default value is 0. A value of 0 means there is no warning. |
| reuse-limit | The limit represents the number of times the password is changed before which the same password can be reused. Range: 0 to 24. Default value is 0. A value of 0 means there is no reuse-limit. |
| min-length | The value represents the minimum character length of the password. Default value is 1. |
| max-length | The value represents the maximum character length of the password. Default value is 128. |
| min-upper-case | The value represents the minimum number of upper-case characters that must be used in the password. Default value is 0. Range: 0 to 128. |
| min-lower-case | The value represents the minimum number of lower-case characters that must be used in the password. Default value is 0. Range: 0 to 128. |
| min-special-char | The value represents the minimum number of special characters that must be used in the password. Range: 0 to 128. Default value is 0. The list of special characters is chosen from the set: { !, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), _, +, \|, ~, -, =, {, }, [, ], :, ", ;, ', <, >, ?, ,', / }. |
| min-digits | The value represents the minimum number of digits that must be used in the password. Default value is 0. Range: 0 to 128. |
| blacklist-check | The value represents whether a check of well-known passwords is enabled or not. Default is disabled. |

password-policy show configuration - Show the configuration of the password policy

**Description:** Displays the current configuration of the password policy

**Syntax:**

```
password-policy show configuration [<policy-name>]
```

**Parameters:**
