The Deployment Administration UI (also referred to as the Platform Administration UI) is a dedicated interface for managing the Cisco Crosswork Assurance on-premise solution. This interface is separate from the Tenant UI and is designed specifically for administrators to oversee platform health, manage resources, and view system metrics. It is your central hub for ensuring the stability of your Cisco Crosswork Assurance deployment.
Key Benefits
Efficient Oversight: Dedicated tools for managing administrative processes.
Enhanced User Experience: A streamlined interface focused specifically on platform-level activities.
Separation of Concerns: Administrative tasks are isolated from general application usage, reducing complexity for end-users.
Accessing the Platform
To manage your deployment, navigate to the Platform Administration Interface. This section is restricted to users with administrative privileges to ensure the security and integrity of the platform configuration.
To access the Interface:
Access the Platform Administration UI by entering your deployment's administrative URL in a web browser.
If DNS support is enabled, the URL is
https://<deployment name>.<domain>.
If DNS support is disabled, the URL ishttps://<IP Address>:2443.Enter your administrative email and password.
Capabilities

Once logged in, the sidebar provides access to the following key management areas:
Platform Health
Grafana Data Export
Feature Flags
Resources and Infrastructure
This next section will help you understand these core capabilities and when to use them.
Platform Health
The Platform Health view provides a KPI-driven overview of the system. You can monitor the status of core services, data ingestion flows, and query processing. Any system faults or warnings will be highlighted here for rapid troubleshooting.
Status Indicators
Status | Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
Normal | ✅ Green | All health criteria are met; component is operating as expected |
Degraded | ⚠️ Yellow | One or more criteria are outside optimal range but system remains functional |
Critical | ❌ Red | Immediate attention required; component may be failing or unavailable |
Monitored Components
Platform Health monitors the following key components:
Session Components: Overall health of active user sessions and related services
Harvester: Data ingestion pipeline health, including collection rate and processing status
Query Cache: Query processing and caching performance
For Detailed Health Criteria
For comprehensive information about health criteria, thresholds, and troubleshooting guidance for each component, see Monitor Platform Health.
Feature Scope and Limitations
Platform Health monitoring currently focuses on ingestion pipeline health. If you encounter Degraded or Critical status indicators:
Hover over the affected component to view additional diagnostic information.
Use the linked Grafana dashboards for deeper metric analysis.
Contact your Technical Assistance Center (TAC) representative for troubleshooting assistance.
Tip: Hover over a component to display additional information, as illustrated in the example below.

Grafana Data Export
The platform integrates with Grafana for deep-dive metrics.
Use this section to:
Select specific Grafana dashboards.
Define time periods for data analysis.
Export metrics for external reporting.

Feature Flags
Administrators can enable or disable specific platform capabilities via Feature Flags to control functionality rollouts within the environment. Feature flags are organized into three categories:
Datasources: Control which data source types are enabled (Alerts, Capture, Session, Pcaue)
Advanced: Control advanced platform features and behaviors
Experimental: Control features under development or limited availability
Note: Only users with the tenant-admin role can access Feature Flag settings. When logged into the deployment as an admin, you can manipulate Feature Flags for all tenants.
Important: Do Not Change Feature Flags Without Guidance
We recommend that you do not change these feature flag settings unless you are directly instructed to do so by your Technical Assistance Center (TAC), Customer Experience (CX), or Service Readiness Engineering (SRE) representative.
For a complete list of available feature flags and their descriptions, see Crosswork Assurance Feature Flags.

Note: Additional feature flags may appear in your environment depending on your deployment version and configuration. Contact your TAC representative for guidance on flags not listed here.

Resources and Infrastructure
The Resources section provides direct links to the underlying infrastructure and monitoring tools that power the platform, including:
Airflow: For workflow orchestration.
CouchDB and Druid: For data management and querying.
Prometheus: For system monitoring.
